Trade Exhibition Garmisch-Partenkirchen canceled. It was decided to cancel the trade exhibition Technical Orthopaedics 2020 in Garmisch. This was the announcement of the Bavarian Guild for Orthopaedic Shoe Technology on 12 March 2020.

 

 

Starting on 11 March 2020, the WHO has undertaken a revaluation and now considers the Corona crisis as a pandemic.

Universities and ordinariates are now more often prohibiting physicians from traveling. For this reason at least 50% of the speakers would not be able to attend the Trade Exhibition in Garmisch.

Trade Exhibition Garmisch-Partenkirchen canceled – here is an extraction of the press release:

We have made every effort to hold the congress (27 – 29 March 2020), but now we have to cancel this year’s congress in consultation with our board, our scientific management and the public health department.

We are really infinitely sorry. None of us has any influence on such a development.

Update:

In the meantime, the Bavarian Guild of Orthopaedic Shoe Technology, together with the scientific management, has decided to schedule the contents and motto of the cancelled congress for 2021.

The Congress Technical Orthopaedics 2021 will take place from April 23 to 25, 2021. Its motto will be “Focus Foot – Prophylaxis and Treatment of Injuries”.
